Finding us and things to note

We are at the end of a single track road about 1 1/2 miles from the village of Ruswarp.  Our postcode, YO22 5HH takes you Golden Grove.  As you enter the hamlet you will see that the road continues between two houses. It  is signed ‘Not suitable for Motor Vehicles’ at this point but it is tarmac right to our door so continue up between the wall and the roadside cottage, passing just one more house (Golden Rigg) on your right and you will find us about 1/2 mile after the hamlet. (usually 1/2 mile after the Sat Nav tells you you have arrived.)

The first building you will see is our yoga studio on your right.  Keep going and pass  the white bungalow. Parking is 50 metres past the white house. You   will see four numbered bays on the right.

Please note that while the road does have passing spaces and traffic is light it is single track and there are times when you may have to reverse. Therefore the  approach may not be suitable for some drivers of low slung cars.

Travelling and Public Transport

We welcome visitors who choose to make their journey part of the holiday and arrive via public transport. We are happy to meet individuals at Whitby or Ruswarp stations and scenic options include the award winning East Coastliner Bus from Leeds and York or Esk Valley trains from Middlesborough.
